I’m Max Kuśmierek, a Polish entrepreneur and a down-to-earth futurist based in Bulgaria. I build companies, use AI every day, and work on technology projects for businesses and public institutions.
Greetings from the Future is where I explore how we might organize society as technology changes what is possible. I believe our growing capabilities should give more people the chance to live well.
For me, that means someone whose work is changing having the support to learn something new. Someone moving to a new city finding people they can belong with. A young person being able to afford a home and build a life. People having a meaningful say in decisions that affect their future.
Those are the outcomes I care about when I write about AI, the future of work, new economic models, or the institutions we may need in the years ahead. I’m interested in how greater productivity can become greater freedom, and how people can share in the opportunities created by automation.
Loneliness and social connection are part of that picture. I built KinoLemon to help people find others nearby through shared interests. It connects people around the YouTube channels they watch, giving them a starting point for conversation and meeting in person. The goal is to help relationships develop beyond the screen.
I’m also the author of Poland Facing AGI, a report on how Poland can prepare for increasingly capable AI, build its own capacity, and share the benefits of progress more widely. I often write from a Polish and European perspective, while exploring questions that reach well beyond those borders.
I have a lot of faith in humanity, and I want to put that optimism to work. Here, I bring together research, ideas and experience from building things, with room to test assumptions and learn from the people affected.
